Reptile Scale Brushes by MentalFloss Reptile Scale Brushes by MentalFloss
Okay! Here's my very first set of Photoshop brushes, so be kind! ^^'

This is a BIG set: 62 brushes of various kinds of reptile scales. These are all kinds of bits and pieces - some really large brushes, some small-ish; some overall patterns, and some body-specific (like iguana neck and turtle belly skin, and some eyes and spikes). I think just about all of them are in the preview pic (again, this is my first time creating brushes, so yeah...I'm not good at preview pics either...)

I really wish I'd made this set BEFORE I finished so much of the pic I'm still working on... XD

I made these all MYSELF, from tons of pictures off the net.

Although I normally wouldn't care about credit in something like this, since this is my first set, and took me like a million years to do, if you use the brushes extensively in something, PLEASE credit them back to me, k?

Also, I'd be interested in seeing some of the work people do with these...

Enjoy! :D

I may try these out! I have a character for an RPG that is half-goblin, and in my head, goblins have slightly scaly skin, so I wanted to portray that. However, making the character in Sims 3 leaves me limited, so editing in Photoshop might be just the control I need to make him look exactly how I want :3 thanks for sharing!
